Description

Discover the rich Acadian heritage and the history of Bécancour, a unique city in Québec, through its acadian origins.

Three heritage buildings house an exhibition on the legacy of regional builders including The incredible history of the Acadians,  the old windmill, naval shipbuilding, the first schoolhouse of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption de la Sainte Vierge sister's, the old windmill and the former Saint-Grégoire couvent.

Tours are offered in a beautiful historic setting!

Do not miss out on our family exhibit : Capitaine Acadie,  our first Acadian superheros.  

Open June 25th to September 1st (Labour Day)
Wednesday to Friday: 1 p.m.  to 4 p.m.
